Director of Ecommerce Remote Opportunity - UK based In this newly created role, the successful applicant will work closely with the MD and senior team in this well-established travel business. The Ecommerce Director will own the digital strategy and support the MD and business owners in the design and delivery of growth plans and financial budgets to help execute the overall strategy. We are seeking a talented eCommerce director to define, develop, and deliver an online B2C presence and improve products, features, and capabilities to drive online sales and increase brand recognition, supporting online strategy. The role will develop and manage all aspects of consumer-facing online channels, namely operations, marketing, technology, and functional aspects of the website. We seek a candidate from a pure-play background with at least 10 years of experience working in an eCommerce environment, with at least 5 years at a senior level. The candidate must be able to create a product development strategic roadmap to drive cost-effective customer acquisition, improved CVR, and customer retention. A proven history of managing CRO and site performance roadmaps, as well as eCommerce P&L, is required. This will suit a highly commercial individual who is willing to work at both a strategic and hands-on level.
