We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered Finastra projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance. Project Description: Greenfield implementation (following a product Roadmap) of Fusion Invest (Sophis) for a leading Insurer. Responsibilities Summary In order to perform the role, Lead Back Office Fusion Invest Business Consultant requires: • Fusion Invest / Sophis expertise • Extensive market knowledge of capital markets, investment management, asset management and financial services in general, as well as Middle and Back Office workflows and processes (including Accounting). • Strong communication and client facing skills in order to be able to present and implement the solution and make recommendation according to market standards • A deep understanding of the business drivers of customers. Responsibilities • Successfully deliver Fusion Invest implementation projects and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. • Analyze customer's current business processes and scenarios, design end-state solution and detailed requirements for the implementation. • Specify, present and configure business processes and best practices for customers during Fusion Invest implementations. • Provide functional configuration, and best practices recommendations and/or solutions to customers during project implementations. • Provide onsite consultancy services, with extensive travelling to the US required. • Pro-actively keep up-to-date with the product roadmap and latest developments, upgrades as well as industry trends, • Provide input into the development of standards, tools, processes, documentation and templates to standardize and improve the execution of the implementation tasks. Qualifications Skills, Knowledge & Experience • 3 - 7 years of experience in Sophis/Fusion Invest and within the financial software industry, with specific focus on middle/back office with capital markets software • Buy side experience is a strong plus. • Professional services experience with a financial software vendor is a plus. • Outstanding relationship management and communication skills • Highly customer focused approach. • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Finance, Financial markets, Computer Science, Mathematics, Corporate Finance, MIS or any related courses, or relevant work experience. • Qualified Accountant is a plus Core Competencies • Customer focus and strong customer management skills including C-Level executives • Committed to providing excellent client service at all times to a very demanding customer base. • Solid interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and decision-making skills. • Ability to multi-task and work independently and manage time efficiently. • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. • Flexibility and innovation. • Team player: this role will work closely with all functions within Finastra.
