Job Title: Java Production Support Developer Work Location: Canada Markham, Ontario (3 days a week from office and provide on call supports on rest of the days) Job Description: Candidate should have min 5 years of Java Lead support experience and overall has 8 plus years of experience and ready to work for 3 days a week from office and provide on call supports Role Expectations: The candidate will be functioning as an Onshore Tower lead Canada and would be in a client facing role. This candidate is a person who has extensive experience working on a Java support role. He / She should have worked as a L1 or L2 engineer, working on a support team, working on incident tickets and service requests. Preferably, experience using an ITSM Tool like Service Now will be a bonus. We are looking at the candidate to be the first point of contact for Incidents during EST hours, ensuring SLA compliance and work with offshore team to assist them with incidents, SLA and be the SME for the team at offshore. Perform Impact Analysis across multiple platforms and applications Experience in dealing with Vendor and their product and customize their product for business purpose Deliver complete documentation for estimates design and development Help determine and capture future business requirements Facilitate and coordinates design sessions Support System Test UAT and project implementation Develop strategy and functionality and demonstrate possible solutions to business and IT stakeholders and provide support to develop technical solutions Candidate will have to be in office / on-premise 2 days a week. Client office is at Markham, Ontario. Technology Stack : Proficient in Java Core Spring Boot Spring MVC Concepts RESTful Webservices Hibernate JPA Proficient in Angular applications experience in CICD pipeline DB2 or any relevant SQL JSP Basics of HTML CSS and JavaScript Knowledge in Struts framework Spring Batch Knowledge and experience in managing and developing Spring Batch Jobs will be preferred and an additional benefit Good knowledge of release procedure Good communication skills and ability to interact with customer.
