Description: Lockheed Martin, a company that prioritizes purposeful innovation and keeping people safe, is seeking an early career Software Engineer to join their team in King of Prussia, PA. In this role, you will be developing and testing software as part of an Agile Development Team. The successful candidate will have experience with automated test tools and frameworks, DevSecOps pipelines, Cypress, Postman Collections, C#, and Angular. This position requires US citizenship and will require obtaining a government security clearance, as the facility requires special access. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software applications using agile methodologies and tools such as Cypress, Postman Collections, C#, and Angular. • Write and maintain automated test cases and frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability. • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of software features. • Analyze and solve complex software problems, working closely with team members to identify and implement solutions. • Contribute to the development of software documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and system architecture diagrams. Basic Qualifications: • Experience with Scaled Agile development • Established software and/or systems engineering experience with a proven track record, preferably in a technical leadership role • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration across the Agile Development Teams • Must have a DOD-Secret clearance Desired Skills: • Military Communications Satellite background • Experience in Automated Test Development • Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills applied to software engineering solutions • Strong experiences in Cypress or similar automated test experience, Postman Collections, Jasmine, N-unit, C# and Angular • Working knowledge of Git, GitHub • Working knowledge of DevSecOps Pipelines • Excellent understanding of Agile Methodologies as they relate to the Scaled Agile Framework • Experience with Agile, automated test, continuous integration and regression testing • Previous experience delivering highly reliable Communications / Ground subsystems. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
