Our website: https://joinlivewell.ca/ About the Role: We are looking for our first data scientist to lead our analytics and machine learning needs. You’ll be a good match for the Data Scientist role if you're a star data scientist and are excited about transforming healthcare in Canada. You Will: Own critical data systems that support multiple products/teams Develop, implement and enforce best practices for data infrastructure and automation Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, Python and BI tools Perform exploratory analysis to answer key business questions; form hypotheses to test; make data-driven recommendations Build models to predict key business metrics and patient/clinicare care outcomes You Have: 3 years of experience in data science or software engineering Hardcore work ethic Superhuman learning abilities Strong communication skills Proficiency in Python and SQL Experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, etc.) and pipeline/orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.) Knowledge of data science / ML libraries and MLOps best practices Benefits: Competitive compensation Gain exposure and have a large impact at a high growth startup Work closely with the CTO and founders Beautiful office in the Old Port of Montreal, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light
