R Studio Administrator

Job Title: User Administrator Work Type: Contract (up to 12 months) Location: Remote (EST time zone shift) Hours: 40 hours per week Overview: This role is not for an engineer or data scientist but for an administrator who can resolve issues as they arise from incoming tickets. The successful candidate will support approximately 500 data scientists Project Scope: Administration of the existing R Studio environment, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades. Build and deployment of R packages: Installation, upgrade, and patching of RStudio Workbench, Connect, and Package Manager. Experience in R Bundle upgrades. Following the Change Management process for package deployment. One release/change every two months. Rebuilding R as part of the quarterly release.
