We now wish to recruit for the following opportunity: IT Systems Engineer (ITSE/25/1) This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, skilled team providing IT support to bothproduction and service departments in our Dunmurry foundry. Key responsibilities will include the following: Provide support for network infrastructure, IT hardware and equipment. Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Monitor the progress of helpdesk calls through to resolution through Service Now. Create and maintain documentation for all standard call resolution processes. Complete preventative maintenance schedules and morning task lists. Maintain existing hardware and software and take suitable preventative action where necessary. Participate as a project team member on projects initiated by the site IT Manager Applicantsmust meet the following criteria: Essential Criteria: Minimum 2 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications) in Maths and English. Alevel (or equivalent qualification) in a Maths or Computer Science subject. 6 months experience of hardware builds and installation. Experience of working closely with Backup Services and associated processes. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Good customer service, interpersonal & organisational skills. Self-starter. Good use of initiative & problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work additional hours when required, including potential weekend IT support. While not essential, the following would be beneficial: An HNC or HND (or equivalent qualification) in aComputer Science / Software Engineering discipline. 6 months experience working in an IT systems support role in a manufacturing environment. A working knowledge of Solid Works / Catia Installations.
