Digital Systems Lead Are you ready to drive innovation in a Global FMCG environment? This role oversees the technical aspects of IIoT implementation, including crafting and executing technical strategies, enabling data collection and processing, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems, and leading the team to achieve project success. This is the opportunity to join an industry leader in a newly created role, it will give you the chance to shape the future of Digital Manufacturing throughout this facility and eventually their other facilities across the globe. You will: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a robust technical strategy for IIoT solutions. Provide technical oversight throughout the implementation phase, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and timelines. Be responsible for effective data enablement on production lines. Coordinate the seamless integration of IIoT platforms with current systems and devices, working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity. Maintain detailed documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and procedures. Provide regular progress updates and reports to the Site Security and Automation Lead. Develop and implement a strategy to phase out legacy plant systems. Requirements: Hands-on experience in programming (PLC, HMI, SCADA, etc.). Expertise in PLC automation standards, such as Rockwell and Siemens. Proven ability to lead technical teams and execute complex technical projects successfully. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership, with a focus on collaboration, teamwork, and accountability. Experience in automation, electronics, or mechatronics. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) data collection.
