Key Responsibilities: Planning and forecasting Assisting the Senior Merchandiser in the forecasting and planning process Phasing sales, stock, intake and margin, as briefed by Senior Merchandiser. Setting OTB according to sales forecast and key stock metrics. Maintaining an accurate WSSI forecast in line with current trade and future events Providing accurate sell thru and sales forecasts, reviewing BTA position and escalating risks or opportunities to the Senior Merchandiser Compiling analysis and insight to help shape department strategy Maintaining and forecast line cards, proposing repeat orders inline with sales performance and OTB Trading Using internal and external resources to identify key areas of risk and opportunity Knowing which levers to pull to surpass business KPIs Engaging with the right people to ensure the right action is taken Attending weekly floor walks and trade meetings and agreeing actions to drive sales Sale and promotions Owning brand and line level markdown and promotions in line with business strategy Minimising terminal stock by driving sell through and maximising availability in all channels Managing price change process, ensuring intake margins are in line with budget and products are appropriately priced for the market Operational support Working with the Stock Optimisation Team, Operations and Logistics teams to ensure stock processes are planned, managed and executed efficiently (RTVs, price changes, intake forecasts, transfers) Working with Wholesale Teams on RTVs and stock transfers Category Management and Buying Support Working closely with Brand Category Management and Buying teams to successfully range plan the department, including option plans and minimum buy depth Identify Risks and Opportunities alongside Merchandiser and driving actions to improv trade Assisting Teams on ad-hoc analysis and reporting Data and tools Using data to identify and communicate relevant and accurate business information Establishing a thorough understanding of systems and reporting tools Assisting in the development, testing, training and implementation of new systems and reporting tools Management Managing, training and developing Merchandise Administrator under guidance from Senior Merchandiser Overseeing day to day tasks of MA Identifying the business priorities and ensuring time is spend effectively Supporting senior team by identifying areas of inefficiency and providing solutions to add value Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Thinks Liberty Brand customer Numerical and analytical Keen eye for detail Clear communicator Systems savvy Minimum Qualifications Previous Merchandising experience in a fast paced luxury retailer
