Technical Writer

As part of our expansion in Canada, we are looking for a Technical Writer to join the team of one of our clients. Location: Toronto Contract Duration: 12 months Work Mode: Hybrid Your Responsibilities As a Technical Writer , you will: Develop technical and governance documentation (system/process requirements, design specs, RACI charts, technical guides, etc.). Document current and future technology ecosystems in collaboration with teams. Support business case development , including RFI/RFP and vendor agreements. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications . Ensure documentation follows industry best practices and regulatory standards. Create engaging presentation decks for technical and executive audiences. Refine and proofread content for accuracy, consistency, and clarity . Standardize documentation formatting and apply style guides . Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders . Your Profile Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, IT, Cybersecurity , or a related field. 5 years of experience in technical writing. Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for various audiences. Familiarity with cybersecurity and cryptography (encryption, data protection, secure communication). Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS) is a plus. Proficiency in documentation and tracking tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA) and design tools (e.g., Office 365, PowerPoint, Power BI). Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
