SAP Project Manager

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead an upcoming SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration for a 9-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Key Tasks Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables for the ECC to S/4HANA migration Develop a detailed project roadmap using SAP Activate methodology Identify key risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies Act as the primary point of contact for business leaders, IT teams, and external consultants Manage relationships with SAP partners, system integrators, and offshore teams Provide regular executive updates on project status, risks, and budget Lead a cross-functional team (functional analysts, developers, data migration specialists) Ensure alignment between technical, functional, and business teams Oversee cutover planning, testing (UAT), and go-live activities Monitor project budget, resource allocation, and timelines Ensure adherence to S/4HANA best practices and compliance requirements Drive user adoption through training and change management initiatives Address post-go-live issues and stabilization Key Qualifications 8 years of SAP project management experience, with at least 2 full-cycle ECC to S/4HANA migrations Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and large teams (20 members) Excellent risk management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills Required Qualifications Experienced SAP Project Manager with a proven track record in leading large-scale SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA migration projects Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field Experience managing end-to-end SAP transformation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while minimizing business disruption Ability to manage cross-functional teams, handle risks, and ensure alignment between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors Assets PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP S/4HANA certification (preferred) Knowledge of data archiving and legacy system decommissioning Industry expertise (e.g., manufacturing, retail, healthcare) About LeverageTek Staffing Solutions Thank you for taking the time to apply Since our company’s inception in March 2003, LeverageTek Staffing Solutions has worked to become a trusted partner with our consultants and customers.
