Privacy Legal Counsel (1-5 PQE) London - £70k bonus A unique opportunity for an experienced privacy professional to join in a global position for a leading Media business. Ideally 1 years PQE in Data Protection and Privacy. Guiding on how best to ensure data protection by design and default is baked-into the design, build, test and deployment stages of all their activities Carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments and providing solutions to mitigate privacy risks Overseeing data protection audits and reviews Recommending successful compliance strategies and leading on their roll - out Assisting with international data transfer and data processing agreements with vendors and other third parties. Providing privacy input to contract negotiations where relevant. Delivering privacy staff training to all entities and affiliates, with a particular focus on digital data uses Writing and updating privacy and data protection policies Updating the Privacy Team on emerging privacy and data protection laws and guidance What does the role require? Law degree & Legal Qualified 1 year PQE Extensive experience in EU data privacy laws & CCPA a bonus Data Privacy and Data Protection Experience is a MUST CIPP/E, CIPM a bonus
