Senior C# Software Engineer | Nottingham | Hybrid | £75,000 benefits An innovative and progressive specialist provider of HR, payroll and finance software, who are partnered with some of the world’s leading companies, are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, skilled in .Net Core and Cloud to join them and play a crucial role in developing innovative products to tackle a wide variety of problems to evolve their platform. You will be joining and leading a diverse, cross functional team who all share a passion and obsession for all things tech. Day to Day Work: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using .NET. Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other colleagues to seek exciting and results-oriented problems for delivering value Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality Contribute to the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions. Support and mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming to accelerate their technical mastery Challenge team processes, looking for ways to improve them Ideally you will have: Senior level experience in modern .NET applications written in .NET Core 5 Experience with modern unit testing frameworks and methodologies Deep understanding of RESTful architecture and API design principles Strong Knowledge of software engineering concepts such as design patterns, SOLID principles, polymorphism, and threading. Demonstrated ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services for cloud-based development Experience working in autonomous agile environments.
