About this Role Role Title: Cyber Security Engineer Location: UK- London (Hybrid Working) La Fosse Associates are working with a global insurance business who are looking to add a Cyber Security Engineer to their internal security team. You will have the opportunity to be work hands on in a lean internal team working on a number of different exciting projects. This individual will be expected to have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and the full Azure stack- in particular Microsoft Intune. In this role you will spend much of your time working on engineering the security infrastructure, helping to design 365 & Azure policies as well as hardening the microsoft stack. This is a very project focused role and so you will be expected to juggle mulitple tasks at once and be involved in several different areas of security. On top of your traditional engineering work you will be expected to act as a point of escalation for the SOC/ Incident Response team. Experience working within Microsoft Azure is essential and any exposure to tools like Crowdstrike, Qualys or Sailpoint are also heavily welcome. In this role you will: Work on securing Microsoft 365 and help to write policies for security Work as part of a lean, compact security team Provide Incident Response support for the internal SOC team Requirements: Direct experience working as a Security Engineer for an in-house security team Knowledge and hands on experience working with the Microsoft Security Stack Used to working as part of a small dedicated team.
