If you’re looking to be part of a high-performance tech company where you will be given lots of opportunities to grow technically then this is for you. ✔ This company use simulation, distributed computing and machine learning to recreate real-time dynamics and in this position you will have the opportunity to take technical ownership in software design, implementation and testing for the front-end components of a brand-new product, as well as having the freedom to determine the correct tools and technologies needed to get the job done, and influence the long-term strategy for product engineering and the strategic future of the company’s frontend tech stack. Ideal Requirements for this role: 2 years of software development experience. Solid commercial experience in developing interactive web front ends in JavaScript/Typescript using a React web framework. Experience with testing framework(s) such as Jest, Enzyme. Experience working with RESTful interfaces and an understanding of API design. Degree in a STEM subject. Self-starter and keen problem solver Bonus Experience: Experience with designing UI components using software such as Figma. Experience in scientific data visualisation, or experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js. Experience with mapping interface.
