About this Role Role Title: Security Operations Analyst Location: London La Fosse Associates are working with a well reknowned education institution looking to add an additional analyst to their Security Operations function. This is a technical, hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a mature environment. In this position you will be working alongside both the SOC Manager and other analysts within the team to co-ordinate the SOC & Incident Response efforts for the business. You will be working directly with the other analysts and wider IT team to evangelise security within the business and develop the technical Security Guidelines. This will be a role where you will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wider variety of differen tools and be able to learn in areas that you may not yet have experience in as of yet. You will work directly on the SIEM platform as well as looking through their playbook & use cases. Exposure to incident response, vulnerability scanning, email protection and threat intelligence will also be part of the remit. In this role you will: Work with the Security Operations team team to ensure a high quality level of protection is delivered Work actively and hands on with SIEM, incident response, vulnerability management and protection tools Learn and develop across a wide tech stack with exposure to various different cyber problems Requirements: Knowledge and exposure working with some security tools Must have identifiable experience working as a member of a Security Operations team A strong work ethic to develop and grow For more information, please apply or send your CV direct to natan.gorenlafosse.com, for a discreet conversation.
