Cognos Developer The Insurance Operations team within a leading organisation in the London Insurance Market is seeking an experienced Cognos Report Developer with strong ETL expertise. The successful candidate will contribute to high-profile reporting initiatives already in progress, assisting with reviewing, enhancing, and architecting the current reporting solutions. This role requires the ability to advise on end-to-end reporting solutions, incorporate additional data sources, and potentially assist with Power BI report development. Day Rate: £500-£600pd IR35 Status: Outside Duration: 6 Months initially Travel: 2-3 Days a week in Central London This Cognos Report Developer will have the following previous experience: Review, assess, and provide architectural recommendations for existing Cognos reports and ETL processes. Enhance current reporting solutions by integrating new data sources not currently available. Advise on the end-to-end reporting solution to ensure scalability, performance, and business value. Collaborate closely with the Insurance Operations team to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality reports. Provide assistance with Power BI reporting where necessary, ensuring integration with existing reporting frameworks. Ensure all reporting solutions are aligned with the needs of the London Insurance Market. Deliver high-impact insights and ensure reporting aligns with the regulatory and business requirements of the London Market. Skills and Experience: Extensive experience with IBM Cognos, including report development, dashboard creation, and data modelling. Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools, with the ability to manage, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources. Experience in developing and enhancing Power BI reports and dashboards is a plus. Strong knowledge of the London Insurance Market, including familiarity with the specific reporting needs and data challenges of the sector. Experience in integrating various data sources into cohesive reporting solutions. Ability to review and provide solutions to complex data and reporting challenges.
