Dynamics Business Central Technical Architect

Summary of Role We are looking for talented Dynamics Business Central Technical Architects ideally educated to degree level in IT and with Business Central ERP experience to work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. This role covers both technical and analytical tasks and therefore covers requirements clarifications, technical analysis & design, development, support and client interaction in order to deliver Dynamics BC based solutions. Key Responsibilities Build high quality design of solutions provided to clients with relative documentation as necessary. Implementation of technical solutions for customer requirements in Dynamics NAV / Business Central. Create integrations with external applications using different technologies. Ensuring all design/technical documentation is kept current. Working both in the Malta office and abroad at client sites when the need arises. Deliver all development work adhering to project standards and methodologies, ensuring that all requirements are implemented successfully on time / budget. Be an active member of technical and design working groups within the practice when required. Be proactive in identifying bugs or areas for improvement in code or documentation. Adhere to best practice and KPMG technical standards during all development. Ensure proper code management takes place for all development work including source control, unit-testing and code reviews. Communicate progress updates to relevant parties. Identify any risks and issues early and raise through the appropriate governance channels. Skills & Requirements 5-6 years Dynamics NAV / BC development experience with a good conceptual understanding of finance aspects and general business related knowledge. Ability to liaise directly with client contacts when required and subsequently provide technical recommended solutions. Have experience in the full project life cycle and able to work independently as well as within a team. Able to analyse, design, develop client requirements and help in mentoring junior developers. Be able to manage multiple tasks effectively. As this role will also involve interaction with foreign clients a good command of spoken and written English is essential.
