Position: Mendix / Full stack .NET Software Engineering Specialist Location: Montreal, Canada Experience Level: Senior (at least 8 years) What You’ll Do Create, document, and implement technical solutions that meet client needs and comply with software development standards. Participate in all phases of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), including quality control and functional analysis. Collaborate with the software engineering team while adhering to the company's development guidelines. Stay informed about emerging technologies and innovative approaches and suggest improvements to processes and tools. Ensure the maintenance and support of all applications within a product family. Implement and use appropriate monitoring tools to proactively detect potential issues. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and team meetings. What We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate brings a balance of technical skills and consulting experience: 8 years of experience as a developer/software engineer with advanced expertise in Mendix applications and secure Full Stack .NET development (C#). Proficient in designing, documenting, and consuming REST/Graph APIs, and applying SOLID principles and design patterns in object-oriented programming. Experience with authentication mechanisms (OpenID Connect, OAuth) and developing robust automated tests (unit and service tests). Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines (YAML, pipeline as code) and cloud provider integrations (bonus for cloud IaC expertise). Expertise in modernizing large-scale applications with complex business logic, and working with cloud services (Docker, Kubernetes, Tanzu). Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps , and relational databases (RDS, SQL Server, MySQL). Familiar with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ). Bilingual (French and English) with excellent communication skills to translate technical and business ideas effectively.
