Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure |Hybrid (2 day a month) | Milton Keynes | £60,000-£75,000 Come join one of the world's leading specialty insurance brokers, where as a Senior DevOps Engineer you will play a key role in shaping and implementing cutting-edge cloud technology solutions for business transformation initiatives. This role provides leadership and expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and related tools, working collaboratively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and deployment of cloud technologies, serving as a subject matter expert. Manage end-to-end implementation of public cloud-based solutions, ensuring best practices in tooling, processes, and documentation. Identify opportunities for optimization and mitigate risks within cloud designs and live services. Provide guidance and support to engineering teams in designing and building cloud solutions. Conduct consultative engagements with various teams across the organization as an expert resource. Scope cloud infrastructure deployments, detailing deliverables and proactively improving security postures. Operate in an agile, collaborative environment, and adapt to evolving scenarios. Knowledge & Experience: Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Strong background with Terraform (IaC) for deploying and managing Azure resources. Experience or knowledge with Kubernetes (ideally Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)). Familiarity with Azure DevOps Services Knowledge of cloud technologies in enterprise environments. Prior experience troubleshooting hybrid cloud connectivity (data center to PaaS). Scripting/automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python, YAML). Knowledge of AKS DevOps tooling (Flux, Docker, etc.).
