Data Quality Manager

Data Quality Manager| Permanent | £70,000 - £80,000 Bonus Pension | Edinburgh (2-3 Office days per week) Join this market leading financial services firm as Data Quality Manager and help define and implement the Data Quality Framework and genuinely help this organisation get to grips with its data. You'll love the challenge of embedding a culture of excellence for Data Quality. You'll join a journey in it's infancy but with good foundations. You'll be tasked with progressing data quality, defining what good looks like, DQ Dimensions and appropriate measurement in terms of dashboards / scorecards. Effectively owning the DQ Framework end to end, so it is essential you have built and delivered in line with industry best practice. You will help build and implement Data Quality procedures and processes alongside doing route cause analysis work using SQL and data profiling tools. Where you'll work Large Financial Services firm who operate with an entrepreneurial mindset Within a newly established Chief Data Office Work alongside other Data Management colleagues and manage a small team of analysts The experience you'll need Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills - working with the business to define data quality rules and business logic. Bringing together disparate and silo'd data activities and ensuring the DQ framework is fit for purpose across the business You'll need to have done data profiling in the past and Experience with metadata and Data Quality tools (e.g. Ataccama, Informatica, IDQ etc.). Experience helping develop and implement a Data Quality Management framework, along with embedding policies and processes around this Leverage PowerBI or Tableau or other data visualisation tools for Data Quality Scorecards or dashboards Experience working with a large and complex business - Financial services experience would be a plus This is a great chance to lead the charge on all things Data Quality in this organisation.
