IT Compliance Engineer

As we continue to grow, maintaining and improving our IT compliance and security standards is a top priority, and that’s where you come in Key Responsibilities : Ensure Compliance : Oversee and ensure compliance with relevant IT standards, laws, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS). Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks to ensure a robust security framework. Policy Development : Develop and maintain IT compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with both internal and external requirements. Auditing & Monitoring : Lead IT audits and compliance checks, ensuring any findings are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, and management to implement and monitor compliance solutions. Training & Awareness : Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of IT compliance issues and promote best practices across the organization. Incident Response : Act as a key player in responding to IT compliance and security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions are taken. Key Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in IT compliance, IT audit, or cybersecurity roles. Strong knowledge of relevant IT compliance standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS). Familiarity with risk management frameworks and IT security principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance issues to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with IT audit processes and working with regulatory bodies is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
