(JDIMI) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join an exciting team of management and staff dedicated to providing innovative solutions and services. You are a wiz, specializing in infrastructure development and comprehensive oversight of data and cyber compliance. The Innovation & Technology Manager will be responsible to support multiple offices throughout Ontario and Quebec, lead our security initiatives, lead the liaison with our third-party IT support organization and lead our existing operational infrastructure and implementation of strategies for mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, the Innovation & Technology Manager is responsible for documentation on program ROI, and process & procedure documentation and compliance – enhancing the team’s overall effectiveness. As an Innovation & Technology Manager, you are analytical, imaginative and innovative with exceptional follow-up skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact with our outsourced IT provider. Collaborate with the provider to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our infrastructure. Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements to optimize the relationship. Technology Integration: Assess the organization's technology needs and identify opportunities for improvement. Plan, oversee, and execute technology integrations and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Work closely with leadership to understand their technology requirements and tailor solutions accordingly. Staff Training: Develop and implement training programs for employees on various software applications and technology tools. Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff to enhance their technology proficiency. Foster a culture of technology adoption and innovation within the organization. Digital Transformation Lead the development & implementation of digital transformation strategies to enhance operational efficiency & client experience Identify opportunities for process automation & digitization to drive efficiencies & reduce operational costs Collaborate with stakeholders to design & execute digital projects that align with business objectives Evaluate & implement new technologies & digital solutions that can streamline operations & improve service delivery Monitor industry trend & best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital innovation. Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources. Identify opportunities to optimize technology-related expenditures. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, either directly or through coordination with the IT provider. Provide 24/7 support for critical IT incidents, if necessary. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures. Generate regular reports on IT performance, project status, and compliance metrics for senior management. Security and Compliance: Monitor and enhance IT security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments. Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity threats and implement best practices to mitigate risks. REQUIREMENTS Demonstrated breath across various technical programs with a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure Minimum 5 – 7 years experience working in a mid-large sized companies with progressive promotions, ready to step in the lead role. PMP certification; preferred an academic background consisting of post-secondary education, certificates, industry programs or working towards; Ability to lead, motivate and rally the team in embracing new technology & improved processes A sense of diplomacy and business acumen with a client experience focus Skills in problem solving, analysis, critical thinking, decision making, innovation and adaptability.
