VP IT – Global UAV tech startup

Our client is a unique startup with an automated UAV solution for the mining and oil and gas industry. They are looking for a Global VP IT to join the team. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ. Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS or similar field a Must
2. At least 10 years’ experience leading Global IT Group a Must
3. In-depth experience with deployments to overseas entities while ensuring corporate consistency
4. A self-starter in a hands-on startup environment, dedicated to bringing the company to operating scale for growth
5. Proven experience leading and managing IT Roadmaps, budgets and working relationships with suppliers
6. At least 10 years’ experience leading and managing global information systems
7. Experience with overseas deployments ensuring corporate consistency
8. In-depth knowledge and experience with Information Security
9. Experience working with various cloud providers including AZURE and Amazon
10. Experience with Oracle, Salesforce and JIRA Systems – advantage
11. Experience working in startup environments – Advantage

Responsibilities:

1. Manage computer and technology related research development and business solution productivity while working with system providers
2. Building an IT roadmap
3. Interface with clients on data solutions and security
4. Manage and develop the IT professionals based internationally
5. Implement and support company internal enterprise systems with PLM and ERP deployment, as well as support along with technology innovation for cloud-based solutions
6. Ability to manage deployment project planning internally, and with external integration partners
7. Budget preparation and management across the company for all IT related expenses, deployments and support
8. Ensure that back-up systems operate effectively
9. Purchase hardware and software to meet cross-functional business requirements along with all SW licenses
10. Manage policies regarding quality standards, corporate security, cyber security and strategic planning
11. Manage performance KPI’s to client and internal SLA’s
