Snowflake Data Architect | About You
As a Snowflake Data Architect, you’ll be the strategic mind behind the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-based data platforms using Snowflake, Azure, and AWS. You excel at building scalable, efficient data pipelines and leading technical decisions that shape innovative data solutions. You’ll play a key role in guiding and mentoring your team while delivering impactful results. In this role, you’ll also work with data architectures for batch, micro-batch, and real-time streaming across cloud and on-prem environments. By ensuring data models and ETL processes align with business objectives, you’ll help us set new standards for excellence.
Snowflake Data Architect | Day-to-Day
- Lead a team of data engineers in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake, Azure, and AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and architect efficient, scalable, and cost-effective data pipelines that address complex business challenges.
- Design and implement robust data models and ETL processes that ensure data quality and integrity, enabling key insights for stakeholders.
- Optimize data architectures for performance and cost using cutting-edge cloud-native tools and best practices.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship, guiding team members in the use of best practices, modern tools, and innovative methodologies.
- Document data models, processes, and solutions to foster knowledge sharing and transparency across teams, driving continuous improvement.
Snowflake Data Architect | Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Architect, with extensive hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Azure, and AWS environments.
- Proven experience designing scalable data architectures, including real-time, batch, and micro-batch data pipelines, with a focus on performance and innovation.
- Proficiency in ETL tools such as Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps, with a particular focus on automation and streamlining processes.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and optimizing pipelines for performance and cost.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams, driving the adoption of cloud-native data solutions, and applying best practices across the team.
- Strong command of SnowSQL, DDL, DML, and predictive analytics to drive data solutions.
