Job Description

Position: Senior Security QA

Duration: 6 Months+

Key Responsibilities

1. Work closely with Security Development and QA teams.
2. Develop solutions to complex problems.
3. Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives, without appreciable direction.
4. Offer proposed changes/suggestions to processes and products, exerting significant latitude in determining objectives of an assignment.
5. Collaborate well with other engineers and other engineering groups, voluntarily sharing information.
6. Significantly contribute to organizational goals and objectives.
7. Interact cross-functionally on matters that require coordination across organizational lines.
8. Influence likely to extend outside of the organization.
9. Maintain a high level of proficiency in all necessary processes, applications, and tools.
10. Demonstrate knowledge of project management, able to identify business impact of proposed projects and designs.
11. Develop new theories and methods related to testing.
12. Lead people, projects, and operations.
13. Foster teamwork and collaboration across work groups and with other organizations.
14. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, able to mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Skills

1. Programming skills in any scripting language such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.
2. Strong storage product/technology/industry knowledge.
3. Understanding of High Availability technology.
4. Experience with Security technology.
5. Excellent at QA methodology and testing complicated products.
6. Proficiency in hardware, software, and/or operating systems environments.
7. Master's in Computer Science preferred.
8. 5+ years of hands-on experience required.
