What You Will Do:
- Design and implement high-precision computer vision systems for advanced manufacturing applications, focusing on sub-millimeter accuracy.
- Develop novel software applications for complex robotic systems, integrating 2D and 3D vision capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy vision feedback systems for robotic motion planning and grasping.
- Drive innovation in feature detection and localization within industrial environments.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation manufacturing solutions that require 99.9% scanning accuracy.
Ideal Candidate Background:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing computer vision solutions in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong programming expertise in Python3 and/or C++.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing novel software applications beyond using pre-built tools.
- Experience with modern computer vision libraries (OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow).
- Deep understanding of digital camera technology and optical lens properties.
- Background in high-precision localization and feature detection.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial automation settings.
- Track record of developing reliable, production-grade vision systems.
- Knowledge of robotic systems integration.
- Experience with tightly toleranced measurement systems.
- Background in industrial automation or manufacturing environments.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000.
