Business Intelligence Engineer, NACF Process Engineering

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to work in the Process Engineering (PE) team. The North America (NA) PE Business Intelligence Engineer is a regional position and will be based in Nashville, TN. The NA PE team is a group of operational leaders driving process standardization and continuous improvement for the Global Customer Fulfillment Network. This team is essential to establish best in class process performance across all different processes (direct / indirect), accelerate implementation of technological advancements and strengthen the technical process knowledge acumen for the operational leaders across the FC network. NA PE ensures the operations teams are driving standards based on insight tools supporting successful delivery of expected gains for technology advances and network wide process improvements. The team drives process control and mean shifting performance with the outcome of minimizing variation between shifts, building and region, to deliver strong performance. The team works closely with regional Central Ops and ACES teams to improve the input metrics for each of the process paths by prioritizing and channeling resources.
The NA PE Business Intelligence Engineer works alongside Program Leaders and PE networks Team(s), while keeping high collaboration with other operations support functions. This role is responsible for driving technology in the Road To Benchmark variation reduction and other core programs through scaling and automation initiatives. This role requires the ability to deliver, collaborate strategically and execute tactically by demonstrating ownership for improvement initiatives, innovating through applied technology and delivering meaningful results translating to tangible productivity and efficiency gains.
