Position Summary

Ryan Alternative Risk analyst will provide support to the existing and new Managing General Underwriters through analysis of data, creation of reports, organization of business process, and communication with underwriters, IT, and operations within a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable answering difficult questions, working independently, and communicating frequently.

What will your job entail?

Business analyst would be primarily responsible for the Ryan Alternative Risk and work under the supervision of the Chief Underwriting Officer. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. communicating with and implementing projects in coordination with IT, underwriters, and actuaries
  2. extracting, organizing, and automating data
  3. building & integrating models
  4. designing & automating processes
  5. monitoring and ensuring compliance

Ideal candidate would have a degree or concentration in business, economics, or quantitative discipline. In addition, the candidate will need strong written communication and organizational skills. Position will be based in Chicago and expected to be in the office 5 days a week. No experience necessary.

  • Bachelors Degree or minor in business, economics, quantitative discipline
  • Experience 0-1 year

The target salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually. The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
