Their mission is to empower biopharma and biotech companies with innovative tools that unlock the potential of genomic data. As they expand thier presence in Europe, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced EMEA Head of Sales to lead sales efforts and drive growth in this critical market. The EMEA Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our footprint across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role involves targeting mid-market to large biopharma and biotech accounts, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the life sciences or genomic software industry. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals in the EMEA region. Market Penetration: Identify and engage with mid-market to large biopharma and biotech companies, understanding their needs and positioning our genomic software solutions effectively. Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target accounts. Sales Operations: Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance analysis to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies and drive innovation. What do we need from you? Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience within the life sciences SaaS or genomic software industry Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling to mid-market and large biopharma and biotech accounts, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
