Title: Sr. Storage/Systems Engineer Location: Canada(Remote) Type: Fulltime with Intelliswift Software Inc. Key Responsibilities: 5-10 years of experience as a Sr. Systems Engineer with a cloud focus 4 years managing private/public (Azure) cloud 5 years on-prem cloud storage experience (NetApp, NFS, CIFS, AFS) 4 years Cloud Application Management/Configuration (Docker, Ansible, Github, GitLab) 4 years managing on-prem cloud AD infrastructure 4 years managing hypervisor (ESX VMWare) technology Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls) Strong scripting/automation experience Experience with PURE Storage Experience with Nutanix hyper-converged technology Experience with Rubrik backup technology Experience with HP/Dell hardware platforms Private/Public Cloud (Azure work experience preferred): Experience deploying and supporting hybrid infrastructure on-prem private cloud and public cloud (Azure) Experience managing/migrating workloads between private/public cloud Experience with private/public cloud automation Experience with cloud automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and container technology Experience with cloud migration paths for existing on-premise systems Develop and implement standards and best practices for private/public cloud solutions Ensure compliance with industry and internal standards for hybrid cloud security Develop and maintain a balanced private/public cloud governance framework based on industry standards Storage (NetApp work experience preferred): Experience with NetApp technologies (clustering, HA, ONTAP, FAS, AFF, etc.) Storage management skills (SAN, fibre channel, zoning, etc.) Expert-level knowledge in storage technologies (CIFS, NFS, SCSI, Storage Snapshots, Site Replication, and Data Mirroring) Understanding of Brocade SAN fibre channel technologies Experience with block, file, object, and cloud-enabled data storage, tiering, and availability systems/methods Operational administration of storage technologies (NetApp, Pure storage arrays, and Azure NetApp Files) AD Infrastructure, Hypervisor (VMWare) experiences are a plus: Knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD), GPOs, ADFS, Kerberos Authentication, and PKI Experience in designing, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale VMWare deployments Experience with VMware 6.x and 7.x products (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, VM) Strong scripting (PowerShell) automation Scripting Experience: PowerShell (Must have) BASH REST API (Must understand the concept of using this methodology) Must be able to write scripts; experience beyond command line required
