Are you an outstanding Editor with experience in a professional publishing environment? Our client is a pioneering professional membership body working within the oil and gas sector – they are now looking for an Editor to be the voice of the organisation to write and deliver their content across their website, publications, standards and research papers. This role will work on a hybrid basis, working in the London office twice a week with the remaining time working remotely. The Editor will work closely with key stakeholders both internally, and externally with technical and subject matter experts with responsibilities for: - Editing material according to a style guide – rewriting copy where required - Collaborate with authors to develop technical content - Stakeholder management - Maintain communications with authors and project stakeholders, managing the publishing project timelines - Develop internal processes for document development The successful candidate will have proven experience in copywriting and editing, comfortable working with technical content and technical authors with an ability to translate this effectively to a wide range of audiences. Experience working to a style guide is important, with exceptional communications and stakeholder management experience. Experience in a b2b or professional publishing environment would be an advantage, as well as any experience within the oil and gas industry.
