Process Lead

Location: Calgary (Hybrid, 3 days in office Wed/Thurs) Employment: 12 months extensions Required Skills & Experience 5 years of experience in accounting 3 years of experience with SAP S4/HANA, FICO modules Strong understanding of integration points on SAP modules including SD (Sales and Distribution), PD (Plant Maintenance), PS (Project Systems) and most importantly MM (materials Management) and PM (Project Management) CPA designation Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Process Lead to join one of Canada's fastest-growing convenience and retail fuel in the companies for a 12-month contract. The Process Lead to manage financial controlling tasks within the SAP implementation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and running meetings with cross functional business teams to ensure mapping is correct and outputs are aligned with the goals of specific teams. The role involves managing and testing profit centers, cost centers, OBC configurations, material mapping, consolidating cost centers, and updating profit centers. The candidate will run and understand cost allocations within SAP, conduct control testing, maintain enterprise structure and allocations, and support accounting for fixed assets and asset retirement obligations. Day to day you will be managing anything related to FICO modules, as an end user, within the enterprise structure and how that related to the end goal. The ideal candidate should have a finance background, controlling experience, and familiarity with SAP FICO as an end user. They will complement accounting functions, audit, and technical accounting, and follow up with the business on mapping issues. The team supports various financial processes and ensures alignment with business goals. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of Calgary with the expectation of being on site on a flexible schedule 3 days per week.
