Software Engineer

Role - Software developer Areas of an advantage but not essential – automation, intralogistics, materials handling, conveyors, baggage handling, robotics, WMS, Industry 4.0, AMR / AGVs, warehousing Purpose of the role: To strengthen our teams, we are looking for talented software developers who would support us with passion and full commitment in the development of high‐availability sortation systems, mission‐critical material flow controls and automated guided vehicles. Modern methods enable our teams to never lose sight of the goal of delivering high‐quality software with high test coverage to customers. Key responsibilities Conceptual design, realization, commissioning and documentation of customized material flow and warehouse management solutions for our customers Connection to ERP systems, e.g. SAP R/3 (WM / EWM) Service and extensions of existing systems Preparation of cost estimates for the implementation of the designed extensions Support of the software helpdesk services Experience / Requirements Successfully completed degree in computer science field or programming courses or development experience Dealing with databases (e.g.: Oracle, SQL‐Server) as well as ideally with Entity Framework Knowledge of C#, Visual Studio, .NET Network knowledge (Ethernet, TCP/IP) Proactive communication with customers as well as team members Professional working proficiency in English Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work in a team Ability to travel 10‐20% of the time
