Technical Project Manager Location: Buckinghamshire Type: Permanent- Hybrid 3x2 Up to £55,000 (dependent on experience) Package Our client is a specialist consultancy supporting Defence and government in complex digital projects. We are seeking Project Managers with a history of supporting Software and data-centric projects in secure environments. To join our dynamic team in driving digital transformation projects within the public sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage diverse technology projects using Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies. Collaborate with internal and supplier teams, ensuring project milestones are met. Provide consultancy-style reports, and engage in business analysis and requirements capture. Ensure rigorous IT service management and software deployment processes. Manage stakeholder relationships, especially within the public sector. Key Requirements: Proven experience in technical project management, particularly in digital transformation. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Recognized Project Management qualifications (e.g., Agile Practitioner). Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, and ITIL v4. Ability to gain UK Security Clearance (SC). Desirable: Knowledge of: The National Archives, Archive Management Systems, Public Records Act and Freedom of Information Act An understanding of public sector acquisition practices and examination Degree (or equivalent) in numerate subjects such as, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or Physics.
