Software Engineer

Location: Gloucestershire Working Model : On site (4 days) Clearance: DV Clearance (active) Sector: Software Development & Secure Systems Employment Type: Full-Time A leading client of ours is seeking skilled a Software Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of bespoke software solutions. This role involves working on in-house greenfield projects and providing consultancy across the full software development lifecycle for key clients. Role Overview: Develop, test, and deploy custom software applications Provide software development consultancy across full SDLC Work on core software development, testing, and diagnostics Contribute to continuous integration and automation Design and implement software solutions for high-impact projects Required Skills & Experience: Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript (Node) Python Other object-oriented languages Strong communication and problem-solving skills Understanding of Software Development Lifecycles Open to working with new technologies Desirable: Experience with React, AWS CDK, or NiFi DevOps tooling: Jenkins, Puppet, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Jira Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Data storage: MongoDB, SQL, DynamoDB, ElasticDB Knowledge of Machine Learning & AI applications This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge software solutions, contribute to high-security projects, and collaborate with industry-leading teams.
