Job Title: Chatbot Developer Start date: ASAP Type: Permanent Location:Hybrid London/ Leeds Salary: £60-90K Role Overview As a Chatbot Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of developing IVA and chatbot applications, using state-of-the-art technology to deliver transformative customer experiences. You’ll lead technical projects, guiding and mentoring junior team members, while working in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. Your Responsibilities Lead and inspire a talented team of developers, working hand-in-hand with Project Managers to drive successful project delivery. Review customer requirements and collaborate with the Design team to ensure the solution exceeds expectations. Design and configure innovative IVA and chatbot applications using industry-leading platforms. Build and optimise NLU functionality (including intents, training phrases, and entities) to deliver next-level conversational AI. Lead system testing and ensure flawless performance of IVA and chatbot applications. Take charge of troubleshooting and resolving issues during testing and production environments, ensuring smooth deployment. Deliver exceptional go-live support and provide ongoing post-implementation assistance to ensure continued client success. Drive continuous improvements through IVA and chatbot tuning/optimisation, enhancing user experience. What You Bring to the Table Expertise in NLP/NLU technologies like Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, or IBM Watson, with a keen interest in how Generative AI is revolutionising IVA/chatbot development. At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing IVA and chatbot solutions, ideally with experience in platforms such as Five9 Studio, Amazon, OneReach, or Genesys Cloud. Proven experience building self-service applications using cutting-edge, cloud-based technologies. Solid knowledge of both voice and text-based implementations. Integration expertise, including working with REST and/or SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless system connectivity. Experience with prompt engineering for Large Language Models is a bonus. Ability to communicate complex technical challenges to a non-technical audience with clarity and confidence. Strong troubleshooting abilities, using tools like Postman or CURL to resolve integration issues. Programming experience (JavaScript, Java, Python) would be an asset. Why Join?
