Cloud Engineer - OCI

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Solution Engineer to lead this transition, shaping the company's cloud strategy and empowering engineering teams to embrace the full potential of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). About the Role: As a Solution Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and executing the company's cloud transformation. You will be the driving force behind the migration of workloads from on-premises public/private environments to modern, scalable Oracle Cloud environments. Your deep expertise in OCI will be instrumental in guiding engineering teams, refactoring applications, and designing cloud-native solutions that optimise performance, security, and scalability. Core Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end re-factoring of workloads from on-premises to OCI, ensuring a seamless and successful transition. Collaborate closely with engineers to identify the best cloud solutions, refactor applications for optimal cloud-native performance, and advocate for new technologies. Design and implement modular, scalable cloud systems that meet evolving business needs and exceed industry standards for security and performance. Educate and mentor teams on cloud best practices, emerging trends, and the power of OCI to transform customer experiences. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud migrations, with a deep understanding of OCI services, tools, and best practices. Demonstrated success in assessing workloads, migrating to cloud environments, and building high-performance cloud systems. Strong ability to collaborate with diverse teams, communicate technical concepts effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
