Go Engineer - mid-level in fintech

About the Role: Infact Systems is seeking an experienced, ambitious, and principled Go Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, delivering, and operating backend API microservices on AWS. As part of our small, collaborative, and highly productive engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to every aspect of our evolving architecture. Work Environment: Hybrid & Flexible: Work from home with the flexibility to meet in our central London office 2-3 days per week. Collaborative Team: Engage in debates, collaboration, and innovation with a team that values your input. Key Responsibilities: Develop high-performance and scalable Golang microservices. Own the design, implementation, and architecture of components from concept to operation. Uphold high standards of quality, ownership, and security. What We’re Looking For: 3 years of commercial software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in Go. Expertise in secure cloud infrastructure, containers, and distributed systems, e.g., AWS, ECS, Docker, Aurora, RDS, PostgreSQL, Cognito, WAF. Proficiency in modern CI/CD systems, e.g., GitHub Actions. Experience with designing for operations, including observability, automation, and SRE principles. Strong API design skills, e.g., REST, OpenAPI, GRPC. A passion for problem-solving and continuous learning. Fintech and early-stage experience is a plus. Why Infact Systems?
