We are working with a renowned British institution seeking a Senior Carbon Analyst to join their team and lead data management for their environmental strategy. This role focuses on estate, fleet, and supply chain decarbonisation. You will be responsible for external data assurance, managing internal reporting systems, and providing cross-functional analysis. Additionally, you will oversee visibility initiatives and collaborate with key customers and account managers while supporting the ESG team. As a carbon expert, you will advise on data reporting that influences budget planning and ensure compliance with ESG reporting requirements. You will engage with stakeholders and contribute to benchmarks and ratings. Key responsibilities include analyzing environmental data tied to decarbonisation and waste strategies, enhancing internal reporting processes, and managing the year-end reporting cycle for environmental metrics. The role requires strong carbon accounting expertise, advanced data analysis skills, risk management, and the ability to work with senior management, customers, and external consultants. Familiarity with carbon accounting software and Net-Zero forecasting is beneficial but not mandatory.
