10208 – Sr. Software Engineer (Siebel) Purpose: The Senior Siebel CRM Integration Specialist position is responsible for successful Operations Support & Project delivery of Siebel EIM/EAI Integration, Administration & process engagements. This is a technical position providing hands-on delivery role, working with the cross- functional teams, while ensuring excellent client relationship. This is a senior position with proven experience implementing large CRM projects (Oracle/Siebel), having strong expertise with middleware, and excellent foundational knowledge of Siebel application integration architecture, to deliver/articulate solutions for integrating with other systems, by exploiting all features and capabilities of Siebel technology. Essential Functions: This percentage breakdown is for high level guidance, and actual allocation of work is based on the business objectives & priorities Production Support: 25% Maintenance: 15% Small Enhancements: 20% Projects: 40% Develop integration solutions between Siebel Applications and external systems Define the system architecture for all Siebel instances and deploy thin client using server administration tasks Working hands on and assisting the development team in building the application, integration and reporting solutions and resolving complex issues Establish/Practice the development standards and the release management processes Design the data entities and support the development of EIM mapping and data loads including the data integration pieces using Siebel EAI to the third-party systems using Web services, VBC and XML based integration techniques. Create testing approach and test script development for System integration testing, data testing and systems integration testing Review deliverables of team to verify that they meet client and contract expectations; Implement and enforce high standards for quality deliverables Coordinate the analysis and design sessions and define application design, data design, integration and reports design translating to technical design for successful implementation of Siebel call center, Siebel Marketing and Siebel Financial Services on Oracle databases Responsible for reviewing and ensuring project deliverables with respect to quality and timelines. Effectively communicate and coordinate with all team members for timely delivery Responsible for preparing excellent documentations, during each phase of the SDLC Self-Motivator to perform Design / Develop user requirements, test and deploy the changes in the production Function as a subject matter expert for developing the Siebel application for complex functionality like email integration, marketing, correspondence functionality and web integration. Basic Requirements: BSCS or equivalent experience At least 8 years' experience in Siebel, consulting or software development role, with 4 years of team/project leadership experience as a solution architect, technical lead, or similar roles. 1-2 years development, configuration and admin experience on Siebel IP23. Must have a minimum of 4 years of active participation in production support/maintenance for a large enterprise application. Excellent client interfacing experience, for operations support & projects. Exposure to Project Management Methodology and adherence to IT PMO guidelines. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts. Proficient in deploying applications on J2EE Web/Application servers like JBoss, WebLogic and Tomcat preferred. Production incident and issue management experience with strong problem solving and root cause analysis background is required. Experience working on complex technical projects in a multi-vendor project environment. Experienced in coordinating with other stakeholders and getting the job done. Self-driven in completing the task with less/no supervision. Flexible in working mode between development and support applications. Ability to work as a team and display excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to multi-task and maintain composure. Good Documentation and Communication skills. Knowledge or work experience on SaaS platform like AWS, MS Azure, Salesforce clouds. Nice to have: Experience in Automotive Industry handling Call Center I.T. needs. Siebel Certification. Project Management or Scrum Certification. API Knowledge of other off platforms like JavaScript, React or Node JS, AWS/any SaaS would be advantageous. Experience with technologies supporting SaaS applications including XML Web Services HTML. Salesforce Certifications, Ex: Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Certified Salesforce Developer, etc., would be advantageous.
