Full Stack Engineer

This company is leveraging AI-powered technology to break down the barriers to fair trade. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with equal experience in both frontend and backend development. You will design, develop, and maintain our core platform. The role requires strong testing skills and a commitment to delivering scalable, high-quality software that benefits our customers. Salaries ranging from £65,000 to £80,000. This role has full flexibility for both remote or hybrid working. They have various offices and WeWork locations across London which you’re welcome to go to whenever you please. Required Skills Proficiency in React. Proficiency in mobile device technologies such for Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS) Strong understanding of .NET Experience with database management systems e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server MongoDB) Solid understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies e.g. Jest, Mocha, Selenium. Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Ability to write and understand design documentation using C4, sequence diagrams and workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Solid understanding of logging, monitoring and observability to understand if software is functioning as required. Strong communication and teamwork skills Nice to haves Experience with cloud platforms e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with containerization technologies e.g., Docker, Kubernetes Experience in writing distributed systems and concepts of sharding, Pub/Sub. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
