Database Developer

Database Developer - MongoDB - Postgress - Infrastructure as Code - AWS CDK - Ansible - 6 month contract - outside IR35 I am looking for a skilled Database Developer to join a busy team with our public sector client. In this role, you will be working on various projects, e.g. upgrading existing database systems and leading the migration of legacy on-premise databases to an AWS cloud environment. Required Skills and Experience: Strong background in Database Development and delivery with experience of MongDB, Postgres, Oracle, Informix etc. Experience with automation tools like Ansible and infrastructure management tools such as AWS CDK and CloudFormation. Proficiency in working with AWS services including IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, and OpenSearch/ElasticSearch. Skilled in using monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Grafana to ensure database health and performance. Proven experience of delivering high-quality software as part of cross-skilled teams. Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives. Experience in Agile development environments, particularly with Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Experience of defining Infrastructure as Code and testing Disaster Recovery plans.
