About the Role: Software Engineers at Heliux are high-agency doers who are directly responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of our core software platform. Responsibilities will include: Become a product expert in end-to-end hardware engineering and manufacturing operations through direct, hands-on engagement with customers. Rapidly develop high-quality software that exceeds customer expectations, contributing to both front-end and (primarily) back-end code. Partner with key team members across Design, Engineering, and Business Development to advise on early, critical product and infrastructure decisions. Solve any and all problems that stem from being a scrappy, early-stage startup (i.e., wear many hats). What We Require: 3 years of relevant software engineering experience. Demonstrated proficiency coding in programming languages such as Python, Rust, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar. Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Innate desire to operate with extreme levels of urgency across all aspects of work. Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
