MS Business Central Consultant

HCL Tech’s Microsoft Business Applications Practice - (MBAP) is seeking a Microsoft Business Central Functional Lead to join their award-winning and growing team. The Microsoft Business Central Consultant will work with the client business users to gather requirements and with MBAP’s internal team of Architects, Consultants, Developers, and Testers for the Solution Delivery. The ideal candidate will have worked on Microsoft Business Central implementation projects and will have good knowledge of implementation life cycles from end-to-end. You should be will be used to owning elements of the functional design and delivery, and a confident communicator able to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Essential Functions : Evaluate and understand business processes and prepare detailed business requirements and process maps. Analyse client requirements and objectives to determine how software can best meet clients’ requirement and objectives. Convert Customer requirements to functional specifications and functional design documents. Participate in the development of functional design documentation and technical specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans, perform SIT testing. Conduct functional testing of modifications and sub-processes during iterations. Design and develop solutions for clients making best use of Standard functionality in each respective module. Work closely with clients and other team members to define, design, and align the business application to the business requirements. Required Skills and Experience: • At least two full life cycle implementations of Business Central. • Experience of managing full end to end implementation. • Experience in WMS • Experience in Supply Chain • Strong Stakeholder Management skills. • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Work with the existing system support teams and work stream leads. • Coordinating, documenting, and signing off a comprehensive project plan. • Take full ownership for executing the project plan and activities at ‘go live’ to ensure the smooth and timely rollout of the new BC system. • A positive and can-do approach • Experience working in a collaborative environment HCL Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
