Application Support Analyst

Senior Support Analyst Location: London Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 A leading Trading Firm is looking for an experienced Support Analyst to join the team in their London offices. They have a massive global footprint and have amazing market presence. They offer a wide range of financial products and services to over twenty million customers globally. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement lasting technology solutions as well as support the existing application. Responsibilities The role will involve providing 1st/2nd line application support You will be responsible for offering engagement with a range of stakeholders from front to back office Have a 'hands-on' approach to work and a 'can do' attitude Provide ad-hoc reporting tools for business groups On-call, weekend, bank holiday and shift work may be required Systems and applications comprise vendor and in-house built tools Requirements Must have Fixed Income functional knowledge, in particular, bond and treasuries trading expertise C++, Java or Python Experience working in front to back office is necessary Have knowledge of assessing trading systems to investigate trade breaks, data, and performance problems Knowledge of electronic trading, markets and connectivity Experience working with the following technologies is necessary: Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, Python Past experience working with Business Analysts, Developers and Infrastructure Support Team is advantageous SQL or experience in programming languages such as Python scripting is essential If you are someone that wants to work with the most advanced technology and greatest people in your space, then this is the role for you.
