ROLE: As a Senior Applied Data Scientist, you'll be part of an advanced data science team that develops, implements, and deploys sophisticated applications and components. Your role involves: Investigating and solving complex problems through data science and machine learning. Developing and deploying solutions that leverage transactional and clickstream data to provide valuable insights. Collaborating with client leadership teams to address questions and build scalable, reusable solutions. Projects would include clustering (i.e. K-Means, Random Forest), Propensity Modelling, Regression, and NLP (topic modeling) YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Degree in Statistics, Maths, Physics, Economics, or a similar field. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with PySpark is recommended. Proficiency in analytical techniques and technology. Experience in connecting data science work directly to customer experience, making a tangible impact. Logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. Experience in stakeholder management and statistical modeling. Experience in the retail domain is a plus.
