LEAD DATA ANALYST UP TO £65,000 REMOTE This is an exciting new opportunity where you will be responsible for turning complex data from price comparison websites into clear insights to inform strategy within the business and increase profitability. THE COMPANY The company is an innovative, leading insurance business offering car, home, bike, and van insurance. THE ROLE You can expect to be involved in the following day-to-day: Analyse, optimise, and transform price comparison data into clear narratives that support both new and ongoing initiatives. Assist the Retail Pricing team in understanding and optimising price comparison data to improve pricing models and related projects. Gather requirements, understand data pipelines that support retail pricing, and ensure key price comparison data is effectively tested, optimised, and used. Collaborate with analytics developers to analyse customer behaviour through price comparison data, enabling the creation of reports that present insights in a clear and concise manner. Evaluate and provide commercial benefit analysis for new price comparison data within the Commercial and Marketing functions and assist central data teams with data ingestion and testing. Present data findings and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, raising awareness of customer trends and suggesting actionable changes to business strategies. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Previous experience with insurance price comparison websites. Proficiency in SQL. Strong data analysis experience. Experience working with home or motor insurance products. Experience with SAS, Power BI, Python, Radar, or Emblem is desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong numerate degree from a Russel Group University.
