Frontend Developer Retail, Liverpool £45,000 Benefits OVERVIEW Harnham are currently working with a loved UK retailer based in Liverpool that is looking to hire 2x Software Developers to their engineering team. They have a current team of 3 engineers/developers (including a Team Lead) and due to internal demand are looking to expand the team As a team they have been tasked with rebuilding an essential internal platform responsible for merchandising and supply chain. As they look to modernise the internal stack and improve their engineering best practices they will invest further into new hires and growth, starting with you THE ROLE You will be: Working as part of a close-knit team of Software Engineers and Developers, collaborating and learning from more senior members of the team, building a new internal platform Improving the existing code base, whilst also writing clean and efficient code to improve product features. Team is currently operating on Linux with Oracle Database. The new platform will be on Azure. Growing the internal capability and removing reliance on external / 3rd party providers. SKILLS AND EXPERTISE Desirable: A good understanding of software best practices and principles Tech: Javascript, React, Typescript Experience writing SQL queries SALARY In this role, you could earn up to £45,000 benefits.
