DATA WAREHOUSE PRODUCT OWNER LONDON - 3 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE £70,000 - £90,000 THE COMPANY Join a rapidly growing global group of premium private schools, dedicated to enhancing the quality of premium education, turning successful schools into even better institutions, often positioning them as the most prestigious in their respective regions. THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES As the Data Warehouse Product Owner, you'll play a crucial role in strengthening the organization’s data capabilities, with a specific focus on automation—a key area of development. The business has grown faster than its data infrastructure, so your work will involve both immediate backend fixes and long-term strategic enhancements. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead daily stand-ups and other team ceremonies, managing the full project lifecycle from ETL to Power BI. Data Optimisation: Identify opportunities for improvement by analyzing current reports, pipelines, and backlogs, then implement necessary changes. Automation Focus: Drive automation initiatives to streamline data processes and improve overall efficiency. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to understand key requirements and define KPIs, ensuring alignment with enterprise solutions. Power BI Expertise: Be hands-on in building Power BI reports for the product team and train them to develop and maintain these reports independently. Enhance Power BI usage beyond Finance and Planning & Analysis (F&PA) to other areas of the organization. YOUR EXPERIENCE Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, ETL processes, and pipeline management, ideally in a multinational and multi-time zone environment. Proficiency with Azure and Power BI is essential. Experience with Jira or similar tools, as well as automation, is highly beneficial. Proven ability to work with senior business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-level data solutions. A background as a consultant or previous Product Owner is ideal.
